A Romany musician from Kosovo, a Pole photographer, and a social worker of the nomad camp “Arrivore” of Turin take a trip through the Gypsy villages, countries, and cities of Europe, looking for witnesses and accounts relating to Porrajmos, the Great Devourer, as Romany call their Holocaust. It is a voyage in memories and silence, on the edge of past and present, toward the night of August 1st, 1944, when in Auschwitz-Birkenau the Nazis liquidated the Zigeunerlager.
